Nice update. The preview's save file is not compatible and some pokemon doesnt fit properly, but other than that, its good. Fun mode was nice additon cause of broken save files.
Just wanna ask how you gonna takle the female npcs. Will there be dating sims and building systems? Or will stay as random events?
There's precedent for Pokemon fan games (rom-hacks and even a custom framework called Pokemon Essentials people use for RPGMaker XV) as well as Pokemon hentai (look anywhere on the internet). Nintendo obviously has rights to characters/assets/etc but the legality for software is a bit more complicated than "they're using my character! sue them!" (at least in the U.S., idk where creator of this game is, but Itch is in the US)
Generally, Nintendo will sue if someone's directly selling something for money, since the illegality is much more obvious. If this game remains free to download (Patreon notwithstanding) with it's updates, it's just a piece of software like any other Pokemon fan game.
Not to mention there are plenty of adult games out there with Pokemon characters. It's been this way since Day 1 of Newgrounds.com.
Just wanted to clarify this since someone below made a comment about this being some make or break to invest in this game's Patreon, which is pretty stupid. Support the creator if you like the game and want what they're offering, don't if they're not.
TO GIGACHILL: Patreon is probably responsive to cease+desists, so I'd move to SubscribeStar if possible. Regardless of legality/illegality, private companies are assholes, and Patreon has been cracking down on virtually anything it can justify lately. SubscribeStar will probably earn you less money, but it protects you from the risk of suddenly losing all your income. Plenty of creators (IE Selebus, who is a pretty large VN dev) have had this happen to them.
This is a pretty impressive game so props. Hope you keep developing it and do well.
Yes, but also no. Nintendo sued the creators of the free Pokemon Uranium fan game, and the original creators were forced to step down and leave the project. The only reason it still exists is because the new team remains anonymous so they can't be sued.
Pokemon Uranium devs took the download links down of their own accord - they hadn't received even a Cease & Desist at this point, let alone a lawsuit. TBF - it may have been correlated to Pokemon sending C&E to a few third-party sites that were hosting Uranium alongside pirated content with less-than child-friendly advertisers. Nintendo's attitude on piracy is well-known, but they actually barely pursue legal action against piracy platforms (beyond telling them to take links down) these days either.
Hello! when you swap a pokemon while it's asleep or paralyzed, it get's stuck in a swapping state along with the one it's about to enter. The one it's not in combat counts as dead towards the end of the fight. It happened many times fighting the butterfly.
he 'll be working on this for god knows how long. he should find an answer to this as early as possible. supporters/patreons are also gonna want to know before investing. if it is completely free, it might not be an issue. I have no idea, but he should have answers so he can focus on his project. Nintendo have been very protective of their IP in the past.

In regards to Nintendo copyright:

This is false.
Here's a link to the Pokemon Uranium tweet clarifying that they have NOT received a C&E from Nintendo.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

How can i save the game?
escape [ESC] while in the actual game, and left-click on a blue box in the save menu

Interesting game overall. Thanks

oh my, here we go again do you have plan for copyright issues with nintendo?
Hes an indy game dev making an adult game from who knows where.
he 'll be working on this for god knows how long. he should find an answer to this as early as possible. supporters/patreons are also gonna want to know before investing.

yeah, kinda aware of this, rn I recommend using SubscriberStar over Patreon to support me just in case. Maybe I like Pokemon a bit too much...
First off i love the game. But how do i save on android?
The game will autosave after you rest or be defeated. I'll add a menu button in the next update.
